My name is James Hansell and this is my photography gallery.

I have been interested in photography for some time, but it wasn't until a year and a half ago that I got a digital SLR (Nikon D50). Since then, my equipment list has grown (see below) and I have recently upgraded to a Nikon D200 so hope to be shooting even more pictures and with greater ease.

I will photograph most things given the opportunity but my primary interest is in wildlife and sports photography. The majority of the animals pictured were photographed in Bushy Park or in South Africa on my recent holiday with the sports pictures focussed around school activities.
